About

My name is Alper Sarıkaya, and I’m an independent game developer based in Turkey. I graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Department at Marmara University, where I built a strong foundation in traditional art and visual design, principles that continue to shape my approach to game creation.

Since 2012, I’ve been developing mobile games that combine artistic expression with engaging gameplay. I’m experienced in the Unity game engine and C#, and in recent years, I’ve focused on creating 2D platformers and side-scrolling adventures.

As a solo developer, I handle nearly every aspect of my games, from art, design, programming, UI, and storytelling to creating the trailers, websites (including this one), and promotional materials. This hands-on approach allows me to ensure every detail reflects my personal vision. I collaborate with talented composers and sound designers for the music and sound effects, completing the worlds I create.

Alongside development, I’m passionate about pixel art, which has become a central part of my creative process. I continue to study and refine my craft, translating my painting background into expressive, handcrafted visuals that bring my game worlds to life.

My goal is to develop high-quality games that combine beautiful art, thoughtful design, and enjoyable gameplay and offering players memorable experiences.
